Update 11/19/08 - Wrangler has now had about 6 months of riding (on and off). I gave him a month off at one time and when I got back on him, it was like we had never stopped! He picked right up where I had left off with him. Please watch the videos below to see him riding. The videos are about 2-3 months old, but you will get the idea of how well he is doing!
Update 5/03/08 - Wrangler now has one week of riding on his resume. He is doing great and is very willing to learn. Not even bucking! He's going to be a good one!
Update 4/08/08 - I have now started Wrangler in
training. He is doing wonderful. He has accepted the saddle
with no problems. He lunges well and I've also started him on his
"flexing" exercises. Which he has lots of lateral flexion!!
He has a very calm, mild mannered mind. And is very willing to do
what I ask of him. I have a lot more ground work to do before I
actually ride him. I will keep you up to date on how his training
is progressing!
